Anwar vows never to surrender until GE13 results validated
BY CLARA CHOOI, ASSISTANT NEWS EDITOR, MAY 13, 2013
KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 — Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim vowed last night never to surrender Pakatan Rakyat’s (PR) fight to ensure the pact claims its rightful place in Putrajaya, maintaining his stance that Barisan Nasional (BN) had cheated its way to victory on May 5.
The de facto PR leader, looking energetic and full of gumption as he addressed thousands of black-clad supporters at PR’s third post-Election 2013 rally in Ipoh, acknowledged that it has been a week since the polls results were formally announced.
Himpunan ‘Black505′ diteruskan di P Pinang, Perak, Pahang & Johor
(Kenyataan Pengarah Strategi KEADILAN, Rafizi Ramli)
Sabtu, 11 Mei 2013 – Pulau Pinang @ Stadium MPSP, Bukit Mertajam
Ahad, 12 Mei 2013 – Perak @ Medan Istana, Ipoh
Selasa, 14 Mei 2013 – Pahang @ Kuantan (tempat diumumkan kelak)
Rabu, 15 Mei 2013 – Johor @ Johor Bahru (tempat diumumkan kelak)
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Help us to build momentum for this movement
On May 5th, millions of Malaysians called out in a single voice that you wanted change. Change from a corrupt regime of UMNO-BN that has held on to power for more than five decades. It was a voice that was strong and clear.
You said to the UMNO-BN leaders: Enough! Enough of corruption and abuse of power! Enough of racism, bad governance and mismanagement of the nation’s wealth! Let Pakatan Rakyat take over now!
But they refused. To stay in power they cheated. They want to continue to rob from the nation. Working hand in glove with the Election Commission they resorted to all kinds of fraud and declared themselves the winner.
By this act of cheating they turned the brightest hour in our nation's history into its darkest.
But last night YOU responded. Hundreds of thousands Malaysians from all races and walks of life, young and old – came to Stadium Kelana Jaya to show your outrage against the injustice and fraud. You showed courage and determination. You braved the traffic jams, walked kilometres and stood in the pouring rain because you believe your cause is a noble one.
You were peaceful. You showed your allegiance to the Yang diPertuan Agong and sang the national anthem with pride. You demonstrated clearly that we are a nation united as Bangsa Malaysia.
Some say that you gathered because you cannot accept defeat. This is a gross insult and lie. The truth is that your victory has been stolen from you. It is they who cannot accept defeat and who have resorted to cheating to stay in power. You are on the side of truth and truth will triumph over falsehood.
You have every right to be outraged that your vote for change has been hijacked. You have every right to feel hurt and insulted by the accusations of being ungrateful and greedy just because you voted for Pakatan.
Our mission is clear. We are no longer just campaigning. We are building a movement. We will protest against the fraud and this disgraceful act of denying the people their victory. We will bring together all Malaysians to fight to end corruption, racism and the abuse of power.
Help us to build momentum for this movement. Make a contribution of RM50 today.
They are now playing with the fire of racism and hate-mongering and trying every means possible to intimidate you. As long as we stay united there is nothing to fear. Together we will show the illegitimate UMNO-BN government that our voice is not easy to silence. We will show them our resolve and the courage of our convictions. We will not stop until justice and victory is returned to us.
If you believe in this mission I give you my word that the Pakatan Rakyat is with you. We will stand firmly with you all the way. We will never surrender.
Thank you,
ANWAR IBRAHIM

Malaysia's Anwar calls for nationwide protest tour
By Julia Zappei | AFP News
Vowing to "never surrender", opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim called on Malaysians Wednesday to join in a nationwide protest tour against elections he said were stolen from the country's people.
Anwar addressed a sea of supporters dressed in mourning black who filled a football stadium and spilled out into surrounding areas, swamping a suburb of the capital Kuala Lumpur in a gathering with a rock-concert atmosphere.
"We will go to every corner of this country," Anwar declared, prompting roars from the crowd.
"We will continue to struggle and we will never surrender!"
'Black Saturday' declared every week to mourn death of democracy

May 8: Barely 48 hours after a rally was called and publicised through social media and word of mouth, Stadium Petaling Jaya in Kelana Jaya was overflowing with tens of thousands of people to protest the controversial election which saw Barisan Nasional scrape a narrow victory last weekend.
The huge crowd not only filled the 40,000-seat stadium, but also occupied every inch of the field. It is estimated that easily over 100,000 people have gathered at the venue, with tens of thousands more believed to be stuck in one of the worst traffic congestions seen in the Klang Valley in recent times.
PKR: Ignore malicious SMS, attend rally tonight
PKR strategy director Rafizi Ramli has urged the public to ignore “malicious” text-messages and to express their objections to electoral fraud by attending tonight's rally in Selangor.
He said the party has complied with provisions of the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012 as it has informed the police about the rally, to be held at 8.30pm at Kelana Jaya stadium.
NONE“To heed the call by (Inspector-general of Police) Ismail Omar, PKR through Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (left), the Seri Setia assemblyperson, has officially informed the relevant police station,” Rafizi said in a statement today.
“This is in line with normal practice as the rally will be held in private premises. The management and owner of the stadium have agreed to this.
“It also complies with the Peaceful Assembly Act - a permit is not needed for a rally, (there is) only a need to inform the police.”
He urged all Malaysians to wear black and attend the rally to reject electoral fraud in the 13th general election concluded on Sunday.
Rafizi also said he will lodge a police report at 3pm today at the Tropicana police station, against “malicious” text-messages being widely circulated.
These urge the public especially non-Malays not to attend the rally ‘as it would become an excuse for racial riots’, as had happened on May 13, 1969.
Politik perkauman: Pihak berkuasa diminta laksana tanggungjawab
Bukan Tsunami Cina tapi gelombang kedua Tsunami 2008
Anwar mahu selesai isu penipuan p'raya dulu
Zulaikha Zulkifli
